Objectivity: Certificate recipients will always strive to be as unbiased as possible in providing advice to clients. Supporting diversity and inclusion in all dealings with Consumers.
Confidentiality: Certificate recipients shall keep all client data private unless authorization is provided from the client to share it. Certificate recipients shall treat all documents, information and conversations with care. Taking all reasonable effort and care when disposing of said information. Relationships with clients shall be kept private and confidential at all costs.
Competence: Certificate recipients shall strive to maintain a highest possible level of knowledge and ability. Certificants shall personally maintain continuing education to keep current. Certificate recipients shall not offer or provide advice in areas where they are not capable of nor suited for.
Fairness & Suitability: Dealings with and recommendations to clients will always be in the client’s best interests. Certificate recipients always put their clients first.
Integrity & Honesty: Certificate recipients will endeavor to always take the “high road” and to be ever mindful of possibilities for misunderstandings, which occur in normal human interactions. Certificate recipients will be diligent to keep actions and reactions so far above board, that a reasonable person, or other professional, would not doubt intentions. In all actions, Certificate recipients should be mindful that in addition to serving our clients, we are engaged in the business of building professionalism and trust, our actions should reflect this, always.
Regulatory Compliance: Certificate recipients will strive to maintain conformity with any and all applicable legal requirements.
Full Disclosure: Certificate recipients shall fully describe their method of compensation, disclosing any potential for conflicts of interest pertaining to clients and also specify the total cost of investments in time and fees.
Professionalism: Certificate recipients shall conduct themselves in a way that would be a credit to the credit industry at all times. Certificate recipients involves integrity, knowledge and trust with honest treatment of clients, and treating respect for others.
